Privacy Directive

Last updated: September 2026

1. Data Collection

Barrios A2I collects information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, request our services, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, company information, and project requirements.

2. Use of Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our AI automation services, to communicate with you about products, services, and events, and to protect our users and business operations.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data transmissions are encrypted using TLS, and we maintain strict access controls to personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services that collect, monitor and analyze data. These services have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

5. AI Assistant (NEXUS)

NEXUS, the AI-powered chat on our website, sends the messages you type there as written to Anthropic’s API to generate replies. Anthropic normally deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, subject to safety and legal exceptions, and does not use commercial API data to train its models by default unless the customer opts in or submits feedback. Please do not share sensitive, personal or confidential information in the chat.

Lead capture is switched off in the current release. NEXUS does not ask you for, or save, contact details while lead capture is off. What you type is sent to our third-party model provider as described above, and is also held on our own server for the length of that conversation, with any contact-shaped details masked in what is stored; it is deleted when the conversation reaches its idle or absolute time limit, or immediately if you start a new conversation.

If we enable lead capture in a future release, this section will be updated before that release goes live, and the following will apply only then: NEXUS would ask for your consent before any contact or project details were stored; only with that consent would we store them in the Barrios A2I OneDrive application folder; Gary would receive an email notification so he could follow up with you directly; and if you provided an email address, a confirmation of your request would also be sent to that address. None of that happens while lead capture is off.
